Chromebook

I'm thinking about buying a Chromebook as a second laptop, mostly cos I've never had one before and I'm a sucker for a new gadget. Does this game work on Chromebook?

As a computer tech I would only say that a Chromebook is similar to an iPhone where they tie you in to using their stuff and can be limiting on some things. No reason the game shouldn't work especially if you have new hardware but all I can suggest is you read this before making your decision as it is literally a different animal to a windows operating system

I have tried to run the game on my Chromebook but it is not compatible with the Chrome OS.

Have you tried the Linux download (*.AppImage) on your ChromeBook, too?

I have just tried the Linux version and it says "the file type is not supported"

AppImage files work a little differently. After download, you have to make the file executable (from a command terminal or from a graphical file manager tool) and then run the file.

Shared this lot with G yesterday just thought I'd post it here. I don't have a Chromebook to test it on but from what I read maybe try QEMU or WINE they look like possibilities
