Songs that you shouldn't play at a wedding....
I want to break free - Queen

Re: Songs that you shouldn't play at a wedding....
This actually happened in my local pub.
Not wedding related but funny as...........
There was a funeral wake for one of the ladies that used to go in there and the landlord at the time said he would put some "random" music on in the background for everyone.
This was the very first song that played.

In an effort to stick to the original question which had nothing to do with funerals G...
If the groom's name happens to be Jones then the song "Me and Mrs Jones" may be seen as more than a little appropriate. For the alternative I'll go with "I knew the bride" by Nick Lowe
Here's an excerpt
Well, take a look at the bridegroom smilin' pleased as pie
Shakin' hands all around with a glassy look in his eye
He got a real good job, and his shirt and tie are nice
But I remember a time when she never would have looked at him twice
Well, I can see her now, drinkin' with the boys
Breakin' their hearts like playin' with toys
She used to do the pony, used to do the stroll
I knew the bride when she used to rock and roll
(lmao Nicely done! Don)
