Our SnookerQ god,
Which art in Heaven,
Harry be thy name,
Thy safety shot will be done,
On the Green Baize,
As it is in Heaven.
Give us this day,
The power to play Cannons, Plants, Doubles,
And screw shots into the Yellow pocket,
And lead us not into the temptation,
To roll up behind the Green for a full ball snooker.
For thine is the Kingdom,
The Power Shot,
Then the Glory.
Forever and ever,
Amen.

Re: Prayer
It is appropriate to me that you have posted this on Remembrance Day. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month when WWII ended.
No way our boys would have rolled up behind the green back then if they could see a target and like you Zorro, I see no reason to do that if you can see the target and it goes.
Risk = Reward. Roll up not in my vocabulary. Loved the poem. Been known to string a few words together myself

Re: Prayer
Armistice Day was WW1 Dean.
Pure coincidence writing this on that day.
R.I.P. all those that fell.

Re: Prayer
Good point I had one too many I's there. We were in Bali this year on the 11th in a hotel across the road from their air-force barracks. We could see the parade and hear all the servicemen singing. They didn't do anything at 11am but they sang and marched at 630am and again at 330pm in the afternoon. Sounded amazing.
