How do I stop getting invites from other players if I am playing a game?
Is there a way to do this?

There is a way: Check the "Block All Invitations" checkbox at the bottom of the invitations popup:
With that box checked, players cannot invite you at all. It will stay checked for the current login session. If you log out and come back later or you change lobby, the box will be unchecked automatically so you will need to block invitations again if you need it.
Note that there is a way to block individual players so that they cannot invite you but other players can. Read the documentation of this feature for more details.
When you are playing a game against another player, all invitations are blocked automatically regardless of the above blocking settings.
