It's inacceptable that the following players have high ranks even they played and won only one single frame: 156 TheGhost, 157 hiib, 162 paulo0111, 163 bigladinsomniac, 164 Trevor, 168 MaddKila, 171 N1mruzaN!
It's also inacceptable that there are 23 players that they played and lost one single frame, and their rank is between 200 and 250!
I suggest that a new player can receive a rank only after playing at least 10 frames!

Again, you are bringing up a good point! Thanks a lot for these ideas, this is exactly what we need to evolve the game and make it better constantly as we go on.

This issue is slightly more complex than that, though. The point of view you mention is absolutely valid but at the same time, we have to make new members feel like becoming part of the community when they begin to play. New players who have played a handful of games and still only have a dash instead of the rank and rating are likely to feel neglected and leave the game before they could have the chance to get the hang of it.

The issue you mention is solved as time goes on anyway because inactive accounts are removed from the ranking table eventually.

I suggest that a new player to receive the rank and the rating of the worst player from the rankings list! After playing 1 frame, he will go up or down on the rankings list! This is the most fair way to have a real rankings list! For the moment, the rankings list is a nonsense list!

As you can read on the rankings page of the website, our ratings are based on the Élő rating system, which has been widely accepted and used in many sports and online games throughout the world for several decades. We respect your opinion but it's unlikely that we'll introduce severe changes in the near future.

Elo ratings are a comparative only, and are valid only within the rating pool in which they were calculated, rather than being an absolute measure of a player's strength.
