Club Tables, Pro Tables and Lobbies

Post by Niccolo »

3 interface tabs:
-Club Tables: rating 1299 - min. Club players can't see and invite Pro players from Pro Tables (reasonable playing).
-Pro Tables: rating max - 1300. Pro players can't see and invite Club players from Club Tables (too many big breaks).
-Lobbies: Club players can join the Pro's tournaments (accept the risk to be humiliated by Pro's), but Pro players can't join the Club's tournaments (Pro players are too good for Club players)
When enters the game for the first time, the new player receives 1200 rating points and it's considered a Club player, even he's a Pro player. He will be promoted to Pro players, as soon as he reaches 1300 rating points. A Pro player will be demoted to a Club player as soon as he reaches 1299 rating points. And so on.

In the upcoming version, we are introducing a new stat called "Skill Points". This stat will determine your skill ranking based on your stats. The main purpose of this stat is to run some tournaments for the lower skilled and some for the higher skilled. So, it's pretty much what you've already mentioned above.

Having a rating of 1300 does not automatically make you a Pro. You may have just had a decent winning run. It's too harsh to limit players based on their rating alone.

We will have invitation filters which you can set to allow/disallow invitations from players with certain ratings, allow/disallow Pro or Club invitations.

Thank you for your suggestions.
