When playback device is configured as 7.1 surround sound, the playback speed of the sound effects in the game slow down by a lot, affecting the pitch.

Hello rickymohk,

The game uses the cross platform OpenAL package for sounds, so the bug is probably in that layer. We will check if any fixes are available and lift it in the game.
