Can you tell me please , why in case of a snooker , when the opponent is commiting fault, sometimes does not exist the option to make opponent to repeat shot (the ''try again'' option) ? Thank you !

Hello,
SnookerQ follows the rules of snooker. If a player fails to hit the ball on (the correct ball) with the first impact of the white ball, the referee will usually call a "foul and a miss", which means the non-offending player has three choices:
- play on from the positon where the balls come to rest,
- make the offending player play on from the position where the balls come to rest, or
- replace all balls to the original position and make the offending player play again.
There are cases, however, when the third option is not available. The most common case is when either player requires snookers to win the frame before, or as a result of the foul stroke that has just been made. You have probably witnessed this when you were missing the third option.
There are other cases when the "miss" option is not called, for example, when the referee is satisfied that the player has made his best to hit the ball on. In practical games, though, referees hardly ever apply this exception. Another case is when the ball on is impossible to hit. Again, this condition is extremely rare in real snooker. The virtual referee of SnookerQ, similarly to real life snooker referee colleagues, hardly ever(*) applies these exceptions.
(*): never :)
