How do the points work? It seems like if you beat a lower rank player you get far fewer ranking points that if they beat you, that's only fair but can it be zero ?

Hi,

From https://snookerq.com/snooker-rankings (bottom of that page):
The difference in ratings gained or lost depends on the rating of the opponent. The SnookerQ rating system is based on the Elo rating system with appropriate adjustments to make it more player friendly.
Basically, it's a rating point system used in many sports. If you are expected to win, you win only a few points but if you lose, you lose many points. If you and your opponent are close in rating, you'll win or lose about 15-17 points. Beating a much higher rated player will win you about 30 points. The points you win are lost by the opponent and vice versa.
