For those of you who played that other snooker game and have been around a while I just wanted to put up this post to let you know that our old friend Peter Mutton passed away in the past 24 hours.
When I went searching online for an online snooker game and found the game I can't mention here, he was one of the very first people I met and played against. We were both moderators on the old game and I later became an admin on that game. Over the years we became great friends, and I am very sad to see he has passed on and I just wanted to share for those who knew him and maybe didn't have as much close contact with him, other than this or a previous game.
He wasn't himself in the past couple of years due to his illness, but I loved him like a brother, and he will surely be missed by many in our online snooker community. Especially those who have known him for as many years as I have or even longer.
RIP Peter Mutton you were always my friend, and I will never forget you and the kindness and care you showed me when I lost my wife of 30 years.
Just a head's up for those that knew him.

This has taken me time to reply.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Peter for more years than I care to remember.

Yes he has had the odd moment in his latter years but more of a true Gent you could not ask to meet.

We used to ring each other on birthdays and sometimes just to TTFP out of each other (Wiz knows what that is) Sadly that seemed to become less and less as the years went by but I never thought any less of a pal I never had the pleasure to meet.

He was such a character.....on another online game where we met he would sometimes say "BRB snake" and he had a snake either under or close to his house or BRB drink problem (another Wiz will know about)

My family and I had an open invite to South Africa which sadly I never took advantage of. That would have been a drink fest to end all drink fests!!

He never saw eye to eye with all he met but I was fortunate enough to class him as a friend!!

You will be sadly missed P

Regards
G and family
