Conceding when the game is easily winnable

I have never understood why people concede when there's plenty available on the table. I rarely ever concede. About the only time I will do that is if my opponent is in a hurry to get somewhere and he's clearly going to win. By that I mean it's minus 9 and only the pink and black left and he's still got the cue in his hand. If I've got the cue in that situation, I know I've won from that position 3 times so why concede? Isn't that the best challenge to win when it looks like you are going to lose? Maybe some folks just give up too easy. Anyway thoughts in the box below...

Fully agreed. Coming back and winning from the snookers required stage is very satisfying. It may upset some opponents but is a vital part of the game. "It's never over until it's really over" as someone, maybe Steve Davis said many years ago and it is still as true as ever.

BTW, my default is the -12 auto-conceed limit. ;)

Better feeling than a walkover, once won from 3 snookers down and re-spotted black.

I will not concede.

While the opponent is finishing the frame I could have a casual stroll to the fridge and get another cold one ready for revenge!!
