Re: Where are replays saved?
Easy explanation why I said sadly. Several years ago, I posted a clip-on YouTube made up from some of these replays that I was allowed to save locally. To this day it is still fun to watch (for me anyway) Solely for my own gratification mate but some of the folks I played years ago really appreciate...

Re: Time wasters
Think about it guys and watch some of the pros play, They must be knackered after playing all day and sometimes 2 days. We're querying 90 seconds? Rules and conditions are set before you play. If you don't like it don't play but don't come in after the fact having a moan about it. Pretty simple look...

Re: Where are replays saved?
Hi. Sadly, you don't have the option to save your replays locally on your computer but if all you want to do is watch then then see previous reply.

Re: Turn chat off
I thrive on chat. 1. The player responds makes me feel more like I am playing a real person 2. You might actually find someone who becomes a lifelong friend like I have through chatting to my opponent 3. Let's you know you are respected as a player and not just playing someone who is basically a rob...

Re: Playing shots with white tight to the cushion
The thing I like there Phil is how hard you like to make it sound being retired you're a lucky duck!! No more setting the alarm for work in fact no reason to get out of bed really. If the hardest thing you have to do all day is pot a ball off the cush then I can't say I'm going to be mad keen to gui...

Re: Tournament draws
Just adding to this the players on table 1 have now finished 55 minutes in and we're waiting for the players on table 2 to finish their match then wait for the result of that one before my final opponent is decided. No names but one of those on table 2 makes Peter Ebdon look fast> I think you all kn...

Tournament draws
Not sure you can code this one but not for the first time I have "byed" through to the final and waiting to see who I play while the other half of the draw has 4 out of 7 players playing off to see who gets to play me. In essence 7 players signed up for the tourney. 5 of them showed up (including me...

Re: Any tips for playing lawn bowls?
Thanks, mate. My very first ball I trailed the jack, and I just got it from the get-go. Bowled the matchwinner in 4 of 9 ends and my best one was knocking out their match winner on the very last ball and leaving mine sitting right on it. Theye was like "you said you had never played" and not sure th...

Any tips for playing lawn bowls?
Hi folks. I work full time for an organisation here in Perth WA and they have a social event coming up on Friday. It is lawn bowls, and this place is very liberal you can bowl barefoot if you like. Q: I have gone on YouTube and seen the suggestions of how to bowl a good ball but has anyone here ever...

Re: Playing unrated
I hear what you are saying Phil but while the game is free take the good with the bad. It is a fact of life that some folks will take advantage of this so do what I do. Right at the moment nobody cares about your rating because it doesn't count towards anything. When the real game gets going, we wil...

Re: Playing shots with white tight to the cushion
Just to be clear here Phil, I'm assuming you mean at Pro level you find it difficult? I believe that is the intention. At club level I have found it no less difficult to play the cue ball from any position. Maybe not what the developers want to hear but I don't see any real increase in difficulty at...

Happy New Year love to all and your families
Hey folks about an hour or so from the NY here just wanting to say to most of you that haven't given me a reason not to say it that I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope you all stay safe and don't do something really stupid just because you've had a few too many drinks or something. By all means...

Never even attempted to drive a truck. Working in insurance heard some nasty stories about batteries exploding in ...

Re: Live or Dead
Hi, Although I don't know (and have never read) the official rules of other sports, I did read the snooker rules several times and I think it is a well constructed set of rules which cover most aspects of the game. For example, the rules don't leave space for individual interpretaion about what is ...

Re: Live or Dead
My interpretation of the object ball (as in the objective) is the ball that is next to be hit (maybe I got that wrong). In this instance I would see a red as the object ball unless they have all been pocketed and therefore the player has not disturbed the object ball merely slipped up whilst replaci...

Re: Playing shots with white tight to the cushion
Hi Phil, I think the theme here might be not to get yourself in that position to start with. On a real table we know it's not where you want to be and here is similar. May I suggest you watch my video which you must have multiple copies of by now for how to get out of a bad pos shot ;) There is no i...

Re: Live or Dead
Just need a clarify on this one. Question was if a colour was disturbed whilst placing white after an in-off. Surely the colours are therefore not "object" balls? I reckon the ref would just replace the colour on its spot in this instance.

Re: Availability on home screen
Hi Phil, I can only explain this from my point of view. The first thing I do after I log in is usually to set myself to away so that I can have a look at the forum, see what tournaments are on and such. This does not mean I won't accept an invite if it comes. I'm happy to put those things on hold if...

RIP JimmyYoung/Mutton
For those of you who played that other snooker game and have been around a while I just wanted to put up this post to let you know that our old friend Peter Mutton passed away in the past 24 hours. When I went searching online for an online snooker game and found the game I can't mention here, he wa...

Re: Availability on home screen
Hi Phil,
I hear what you are saying but the game is live so any one of the people on that list may become available at any point. Would you not prefer to see them pop up as available if they have just been away for a quick break?

It is appropriate to me that you have posted this on Remembrance Day. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month when WWII ended. No way our boys would have rolled up behind the green back then if they could see a target and like you Zorro, I see no reason to do that if you can see ...
