Re: Tournament Auto-concede limit

Hi, The game has a Claim Frame feature: If the auto-concede limit is passed, the red C concede button turns into a green checkmark. If the player on clicks it, he or she will win the game immediately. This is a convenience feature. I see your point, though. In the situation you attached it takes a ...

Re: Some neat snooker history.....

I do believe a knowledge of billiards and even pool helps your snooker understanding of the game. I have played with some of those older balls. My grandfather was Blackpool snooker champion at 13 years of age, and he had his own table. As seen in the clip you literally had to play the balls head on ...

Re: 15 second shot time for 10pm Tournament

Guys in another game we had the option of a 10 sec timer and that was hectic but a lot of fun and a great evener. At one point I had an average shot time of around 8 seconds, but I get that it's not for everyone. Sideline on a 60 sec shot clock I am happy to go for a quick smoke and still get back i...

Re: Is there a meaning behind or a reason you picked the nickname you picked?

I remember Pacman, a simple concept but challenging game, and now it makes sense why you are called Wizard. Of course I am not really Freddy Fox, its an alliterative name that appeared in my head one day. I think that's where most of our nicks came from mate. Either something you got called by your...

If the groom's name happens to be Jones then the song "Me and Mrs Jones" may be seen as more than a little appropriate. Re: Is there a meaning behind or a reason you picked the nickname you picked?

Years ago, and we're talking the eighties my best mate and I used to play a computer game called Digger. Very old game similar to PacMan where your character is a bulldozer and you have these nasties chasing you because you are plowing up their patch. My reflexes were so good they could be right on ...

That's easy. Any one of the cars that James Bond had or maybe the black Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. Something with some guts ;)

Hiya folks. What are your favourite choices when it comes to music?? I have quite a varied selection ranging from music from the 60s to the likes of Dire Straights and AC/DC. One of my all time favourites is Garth Brooks (an aquired taste I agree) But for some insane reason my all time number one r...

Not that sort of game Don this is a gentleman's game not that BS thing where you line up the other player. Here you line up the balls and try to pop them into a pocket (there are 6 of them for you daft Canucks who can't decide) :)

Re: Where are replays saved?

Easy explanation why I said sadly. Several years ago, I posted a clip-on YouTube made up from some of these replays that I was allowed to save locally. To this day it is still fun to watch (for me anyway) Solely for my own gratification mate but some of the folks I played years ago really appreciate...

Re: Time wasters

Think about it guys and watch some of the pros play, They must be knackered after playing all day and sometimes 2 days. We're querying 90 seconds? Rules and conditions are set before you play. If you don't like it don't play but don't come in after the fact having a moan about it. Pretty simple look...

I thrive on chat. 1. The player responds makes me feel more like I am playing a real person 2. You might actually find someone who becomes a lifelong friend like I have through chatting to my opponent 3. Let's you know you are respected as a player and not just playing someone who is basically a rob...

The thing I like there Phil is how hard you like to make it sound being retired you're a lucky duck!! No more setting the alarm for work in fact no reason to get out of bed really. Not sure you can code this one but not for the first time I have "byed" through to the final and waiting to see who I play while the other half of the draw has 4 out of 7 players playing off to see who gets to play me. In essence 7 players signed up for the tourney. 5 of them showed up (including me...

Re: Any tips for playing lawn bowls?

Thanks, mate. My very first ball I trailed the jack, and I just got it from the get-go. Bowled the matchwinner in 4 of 9 ends and my best one was knocking out their match winner on the very last ball and leaving mine sitting right on it. Theye was like "you said you had never played" and not sure th...

Any tips for playing lawn bowls?

Hi folks. I work full time for an organisation here in Perth WA and they have a social event coming up on Friday. It is lawn bowls, and this place is very liberal you can bowl barefoot if you like. Q: I have gone on YouTube and seen the suggestions of how to bowl a good ball but has anyone here ever...

I hear what you are saying Phil but while the game is free take the good with the bad. It is a fact of life that some folks will take advantage of this so do what I do. Right at the moment nobody cares about your rating because it doesn't count towards anything. When the real game gets going, we wil...

Re: Playing shots with white tight to the cushion

Just to be clear here Phil, I'm assuming you mean at Pro level you find it difficult? I believe that is the intention. At club level I have found it no less difficult to play the cue ball from any position. Maybe not what the developers want to hear but I don't see any real increase in difficulty at...
