Anywhere in the `D`?
So, your opponent goes in off, you can now play from anywhere in the `D`.
Assuming there`s no reds baulk side of the table,
Why can`t you give yourself a `Freeball` behind the yellow, green or brown?
Just a thought...

Re: Snooker Stars and their contracts
Just heard Ronnie might retire, because the governing body don't like the amount of time he plays in China where the big money is. I don`t see a problem with Ronnie picking and choosing what tournaments he does and doesn't enter. Hearn is making millions, so if he wants the top players in the lesser...

Re: Favourite "real" snooker player of your lifetime
Alex Higgins was the best player to watch....he wasn`t the robotic player such as Davis or Hendry...but he invented shots on the spur of the moment, that other players wouldn`t dream of.
Plus we never actually saw Alex at his very best. as most of his early career wasn`t televised. Z

Here`s a question for anyone good at math......
How many red cue parts would you have used to get Demon cue?
£100 for the correct answer....which will be automatically donated on your behalf to a charity of my choice.

Rankings
Might be a good idea to drop a players rank by one place if they don`t log in for say....1 month or so.
Seems unfair to keep their position on the ranking if they aren`t logging on for months.

Re: Rewarded for a foul shot
Maybe I'm reading this wrong but you said 30 points behind before the opponent goes in off Therefore you receive 4 points for the foul and his red doesn't count hence making you 26 points behind There are 27 points left on for a 1 point win if you clear the table yes? I'm confused? Well corrected W...

Re: How many balls can you place on a snooker table?
Ah so you arrange the balls staggered rather than columns, like the honeycomb, hence the picture of the bees.
That`s a bit harder to calculate.

Re: How many balls can you place on a snooker table?
2592
6 balls per 1ft, so 6x12=72 length then 6x6=36 width...so 72x36=2592.

I wonder if this rap is going to be as popular as the Snooker Loopy was in the 1980's.
Soundtrack, please!
BTW, did you know that they included SnookerQ in the Snooker Loopy song?

Name plates
I think the colour of the name plates, where your name is displayed while playing a game, currently one is yellow and the other is light grey, could much improved. Maybe the background of it to match the player rating would be good. Soon as you join a game when invited, you`d instantly know what rat...
